The Story of the Maidenhair Fern

After spending the winter in the garage, this maidenhair fern emerged looking as though its best days might be behind it. But with a little compost, daily watering, and the cool shade and humidity of the north side of the house, it made a remarkable comeback.

Surrounded by caladiums, vigorous Algerian ivy, and a beautiful foxtail fern, it flourished throughout the summer, eventually reaching an impressive size.
